Diploma in bird poop scooping

Hello. As you may or may not know, I have gotten myself a new bird. After so many birds, I have become very experienced in cleaning up their poop. Here are a few tips:

1. At some point of time, you WILL touch the poop with your bare hands/feet. It is inevitable.

2. Do not let the smug look of your bird deter you. You are imagining it. Really.

3. Try not to let it dry. There was once we found Zai zai's dried up poop under the sofa and spent 3 months scrubbing it (only a slight stain left now). Very bad when you want to resell your house. But then again, if there are enough stains, you can pass it off as abstract art on the floor. So the rule is, it's all or nothing.

4. Chances are, you will get pooped on (refer to 1). If this happens, give your bird a slap and scold him. My older bird now knows how to scold himself ("AIYOOOOO, ZAI ZAI AH!!!!!") after pooping on anywhere but in his cage.

5. If you are a hypochondriac or really disgusted by bird poop, remember that somebody had to wipe your ass for you when you were young.

See, aren't the tips helpful?
