Rain ravaged the earth, as if trying to wash away the filth mankind had left behind. The lands, once fertile, have grown barren; the fields, once lush, are dead; the oceans, once dazzling, are nothing but layers of pollution.

Kristen stood on what used to be the street she lived in. The houses have been eroded to non existence over the millions of years she was not home.

The wind stung her eyes, made it difficult to see. When mankind moved, earth was already on the verge of being destroyed. She had hoped the move would give earth the time it needed to repair and heal. Her hope was in vain.
